Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use novaraconstruction.com, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone or a magnified display. This page says where we stand, what we know still needs work, and how to reach a person about it.
Conformance status
Novara Construction LLC aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most often referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
This website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most of the standard is met, but not all of it. The gaps we know about are listed below.
What is in place
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
- Every page declares its language, and links, buttons and form fields show a visible outline when reached with the keyboard.
- Photos that carry information have text descriptions, and every form field has a label.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the scroll animations are switched off. Without JavaScript, every page is fully visible and static.
- The accessibility button in the bottom corner of every page can pause motion, raise contrast, enlarge text and underline links. Your choice is remembered on your device.
Known limitations
We tested the main pages on October 15, 2026 and found these issues:
- Gray body text. The gray used for most body text measures 4.29:1 against white and 3.97:1 against the light gray sections, where WCAG asks for 4.5:1. “Higher contrast” in the accessibility options raises it to 7.46:1.
- Gold labels. Small gold labels and the highlighted menu item measure 2.89:1 against white. “Higher contrast” raises them to 6.02:1.
- A footer link shown by color only. “Verify a license” in the footer is not underlined. “Underline links” in the accessibility options underlines it, with every other link in the text.
- Map. The map on the contact page comes from Google and may not work well with every assistive technology. Our address is written out next to it.
- Business cards. The digital business cards of our team keep their earlier design and were not part of this review.
How this was assessed
By self-evaluation: an automated accessibility test (axe) of our main pages at desktop and phone sizes, and a review of the code. The website has not been audited by an independent third party, and it has not been tested end to end by people who use assistive technology.
